One Camera Cannot Connect

Even after scanning the QR code, the camera indicator may not turn solid green, and instead keeps repeating
“green blinking → solid red → green blinking → solid red …”.

Indicator light meanings

  • Green blinking: Attempting Wi-Fi connection
  • Solid green: Wi-Fi connection successful
  • Solid red: Wi-Fi connection failed

If this blinking loop continues, the camera is not properly connecting to Wi-Fi.
Possible causes include insufficient power supply, non-2.4GHz Wi-Fi, or incorrect SSID/password.
The next section explains how to check each point.

Common Errors

Insufficient Power Supply

Since GRAN EYE performs high-precision processing, it requires a stable power supply from a USB Type-C (Power Delivery compatible) adapter.
If you use an underpowered adapter or cable, the voltage may drop during connection attempts, causing a green blinking ⇔ solid red loop.

01 Checkpoints

  • Is the AC adapter USB-PD compatible?
  • Are you using a cable other than the dedicated GRAN EYE power cable?

02 Solutions

  • Replace with the genuine / recommended PD-compatible adapter and cable
  • Connect directly to a wall outlet instead of using a hub or extension cord

For details on USB adapters, please see Before Using GRAN EYE: Preparing the Power Adapter

Network Information Mismatch (2.4GHz / SSID / Password)

If any of the following apply, a green blinking ⇔ solid red loop may occur after scanning the QR code:

  • Using an SSID that is not 2.4GHz-only (the camera only supports 2.4GHz).
If your SSID combines 2.4GHz/5GHz, please configure a dedicated 2.4GHz SSID on your router, generate a new QR code, and rescan.
  • Incorrect SSID / password entry.
Double-check the information entered in the app, generate a new QR code, and rescan.
  • QR code reading failure (reflection, external light, distance, screen brightness, etc.).
Try displaying the QR code on another device, increase screen brightness, avoid reflections, and adjust the distance to 10–20 cm before rescanning.

・SSID and 2.4GHz/5GHz setup steps may differ depending on your router. Please check your router manufacturer’s instructions.
・When scanning the QR code, be mindful of screen reflections, glare, and external light (adjust brightness, angle, and keep distance at 10–20 cm).
